Family Switch trailer finds Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms' whole family switching places in the new Netflix comedy

Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms are taking the body swapping genre to a whole new level in the new trailer for the Netflix comedy film Family Switch.

Garner - who was recently bonding with ex Ben Affleck - and Helms star as Jess and Bill Walker, the heads of a family that also include CC (Emma Myers) and Wyatt (Brady Noon).

The comedy follows this family who has a chance encounter with a fortune teller, and the next morning the mother and daughter have switched bodies, along with the father and son.

They must each try to achieve each others' goals in their new bodies as they must work as a family.

The Netflix comedy from director McG, which screenwriters Victoria Strouse and Adam Sztykiel adapted from the 2010 book Bedtime for Mommy by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, will be released on November 30.

The trailer begins with Jess mentioning to Bill that, 'I worry that we're all kind of disconnected,' though Bill isn't paying attention.

'Did you ask me something?' Bill asks but they both brush it off and get ready for bed.

The next day, Jess goes into CC's room, as she's skillfully playing with a soccer ball, as Jess asks, 'Do you think it's good for you to live like this?'

CC kicks the ball to Jess, who catches it with her hands, as CC jokes, 'You're really not supposed to use your hands.'

Meanwhile, Wyatt asks Bill for help on a math problem, but he jokes, 'I'm just kidding, I know you can't.'

Later at a family meeting, Jess sternly insists, 'We are gonna make a happy memory as a family,' but that doesn't go well either.

CC tells Jess, 'I wish you could be me,' as Jess insists, 'I would love for you to be me for one day.'

Meanwhile, Wyatt tells Bill, 'I would love for you to know what it's like to be me,' as Bill jokes, 'I would kill to eat a dozen donuts and just have it burn right off.'

They meet a woman (Rita Moreno) as Jess asks her to take a picture of the family, but when she does, something magical happens.

The next morning, they all wake up in shock - Jess and CC have swapped bodies and Wyatt and Bill have as well, which naturally causes them to freak out.

They then proceed to literally name drop some of their body-swap genre predecessors as Jess says, 'I'm 17 Again,' referring to the 2009 Matthew Perry/Zac Efron film.

Meanwhile Wyatt says he's, '13 Going on 30,' the 2004 Jennifer Garner comedy, as Bill says, 'So freaky,' referring to Freaky Friday.

In an even more unsual plot twist, the dog Pickles and the infant Miles have also swapped bodies, with the dog walking on two legs and the baby drinking from a water dish.

CC (in Jess' body) says, 'We just need to get through today and figure out how this happened,' while Bill (in Wyatt's body) tries to adjust to high school.

Wyatt's crush Ariana goes in to kiss him but Bill (in Wyatt's body) pulls away, blocking her lips with a Cheez-It box.

When Wyatt asks, 'Did you steal my first kiss?' Bill says, 'No, I pulled away,' as they all freak out some more.

CC (in Jess' body) says, 'I can't believe I thought we could pull this off,' when Jess (in CC's body) adds, 'Be a boss' over and over... but it doesn't work as CC stumbles on her heels and tumbles down the stairs.

The family runs into the mysterious astrologer again, who says, 'Sounds like you need to fix what's broken.

The trailer winds down with a number of random shots while Jess (in CC's body) tells CC (in Jess' body), 'More than anything, I just want you to be OK.'

CC (in Jess' body) reveals, 'We have 24 hours. If we don't figure this out, we're gonna be stuck like this forever.'

Wyatt (in Bill's body) jokes this is just a dream and to slap him as CC (in Jess' body) slaps him, which surprises him.

The trailer ends with the dog peeing in the infant potty chair as Matthias Schweighöfer's character says, 'I think the dog and the baby are spending too much time together.'
