The Block bidder Adrian 'Mr Lambo' Portelli cranes a $2million Formula 1 car into his new multimillion-dollar Melbourne penthouse
Australian property investor Adrian Portelli has put a $2million Formula 1 race car on display in his new multimillion-dollar Melbourne penthouse.
The Block bidder, known as 'Mr Lambo' for his love of flashy cars, shared photos on Instagram on Tuesday of a work crew craning the vehicle up to the top floor.
One snap showed Portelli, 34, posing next to the McLaren Senna GTR in his high-rise apartment, with the breathtaking city skyline behind him.
Another showed the labourers carefully using a crane to get the luxury vehicle up 57 storeys into Portelli's apartment.
Portelli, who bought Sharon and Ankur's Block home in a post-auction sale last year, expressed gratitude to his team of dedicated workers in the caption.

'A first look at the McLaren Senna GTR 57 floors up. A huge thank you to everyone involved for making this absolutely surreal moment happen,' he wrote.
Last month, Portelli splashed out on the luxury penthouse, breaking a record for the city's most expensive apartment after paying an eye-watering $39million.
He will reportedly use the property as a weekender.

The 34-year-old is a multi-millionaire property investor and online promotions guru with an estimated net worth of $350million.
The businessman told realestate.com.au he decided to buy the apartment the same day he saw it because of 'the security' and it being a 'blank canvas'.
He also admitted that a selling point was the penthouse's direct link to the second tower, which will house a five-star Shangri-La hotel.

But Portelli said that despite its prime location - the 'Sapphire by the Gardens' twin-tower development on La Trobe Street in the heart of the CBD - the property wont be his primary residence.
Portelli made headlines last year for pushing up the price of Omar and Oz's home during The Block finale.
He opened the bidding at $4.5million - far above the $4.08million reserve - and his aggressive style meant eventual buyer Danny Wallis ended up paying an eye-watering $5,666,666.66 for the five-bedroom, 10-acre Gisborne estate.
He also runs his own promotions and giveaway business, focusing on luxury vehicles and prestige houses, and is the owner of The Little Legends Foundation, which provides urgent medical care and offers experiences for vulnerable children.
He founded auto enthusiast club LMCT+ in 2018, which has now become Australia's largest and fastest-growing car community
