Darby Allin is obviously just built different. 

The All Elite Wrestling star shared on Sunday morning that he had been hit by a bus in New York and posted a picture of his busted-up face. 

Streaked with dried blood from his nose and down his left cheek, his bandaged visage probably won't be the inspiration for any aspiring Leonardo da Vinci imitators.


All the more remarkably, Allin had been crossing the street with a broken foot and broken nose already, but simply took the bus hit and still managed to make it to a Broadway show. 

'That awkward moment when your crossing the street in New York with a broken foot and get hit by a bus,' he posted on Instagram.

Remarkably, Allin, who already had a broken foot and nose, still made it to a Broadway show

'Least I can have a good time with Raymond Pettibon and catch a Broadway show lol.'

He had been due to go and climb Mt Everest this year, but that endeavour will have to wait. 

He is used to daredevil challenges - he has jumped over his own home driving a jeep, dlying 96 feet in the air.  

'The life is telling you to not climb the cold mountain,' wrote one commenter on Instagram.

'Even when you're not wrestling you take crazy bumps,' another wrote. 

'Darby please be careful man,' said one concerned fan.  

Allin has been out of action since March, when he suffered a broken foot in AEW Big Business - a television special - against Jay White.

He had jumped from the top rope to attempt a Senton - landing on top of one's opponent on your back - but sustained his injury in the process. He still carried on with the bout, mind.
