Logan Paul has admitted to battling suicidal thoughts in 2022 as his crypto video game was embroiled in a $2.3 million scandal amid accusations of fraud.

'For the first time in my life I was having suicidal thoughts,' Logan told entrepreneur Graham Bensinger as part of a documentary about himself. 'I was just spiraling, Graham. Spiraling. I was crying, like sobbing.'

Paul was so upset that he missed on a chance to meet his girlfriend's father at the time as the couple was vacationing in her native Denmark.

'I felt weak, which is uncommon for me,' he said. 'I'm supposed to be the leader.'

The documentary, titled '5 Months with Logan Paul,' is set to be released later this month and will cover all aspects of the former YouTube star's diverse interests, including wrestling, business, and his fledgling boxing career.

It also covers his experience with CryptoZoo – a project he launched in 2021 only to be met with controversy a year later when YouTuber Coffeezilla produced a three-part docuseries accusing Paul and his company of scamming users.

The game was supposed to allow users to buy base egg NFTs that would watch and grow into animal NFTs, which could then be bread with other NFTs.

In order to make $ZOO tokens, the game's currency, users would need to hatch eggs.

Unfortunately the game did not work as intended, and later became the subject of a class-action lawsuit.

Paul, who has denied defrauding anyone, has pointed the finger at the games makers. But despite his insistence that he's not at fault, he has offered a $2.3 million buyback program aimed at settling the issue.

'I'm going to take care of the people who made me look like this was a scam perpetrated by me,' Paul said. 'I didn't make any f***ing money, bro. I lost half a million dollars on this.'

When asked how he dealt with the scandal, Paul pointed to his fiancé, Nina Agdal.

'I'm so blessed that I have Nina in my life,' Paul said.

Paul will make his WrestleMania debut next month in Philadelphia, when he is expected to face Randy Orton.
